Eurostar says that direct trains between London and Amsterdam, originally scheduled to start last April, will begin in late October.
Now, if only we Americans can get the okay to take it.

Direct service between London and Amsterdam have been running for a while. The big news are that there will be direct trains from Amsterdam to London!
Let’s hope the Covid situation has improved by October as you currently have to quarantine for 14 days arriving in the U.K. from the Netherlands.
This is brilliant news, and avoids a Thalys transfer in Brussels for Amsterdam. The tell of the tape, though, will be as Jennifer says: do you have to quarantine when you arrive back in the UK? I dont know the current rules for travellers arriving in the Netherlands. (air or rail)
