I'm ready to book a Eurostar ticket for May 21st London to Paris but everytime I try to go on their website, I can't get anywhere. This is even after contacting them and doing what they suggested which was deleting all cookies first. Any ideas? What is the cheapest way to get the tickets? Last month when I checked, the price was 86.00 and now the cheapest is 101.00. (Rail Europe) Yikes.
I just went to www.eurostar.com. If I had completed my dummy booking for 21 May, I could have gotten a ticket for the same price ($101 US). That's about as cheap as it gets!
OK I might be a planning ahead doof but I bought two tickets roundtrip from London to Paris this past December (07) for our trip this coming April (2008) for $308.00. That figures out at $77 U.S. each way. In the meantime the dollar has/is taking a beating. Looked again today and it came out $79 each way. This is the 2nd class, non-refundable, no can change anything unless you die and even not then, fare. Go second class and take a picnic from Harrods...we do! I just went to www.eurostar.com and got the $79 fare from the official site. If you order your tickets from the official site you will indeed get your confirmation w/n 24 hrs. Tickets must be picked up at the station with the credit card used to buy them and a passport. Be there at least 2 hrs early. Cheaper than flying and more fun.
