I ordered tickets online for the Eurostar for Paris-London. I will be staying at Disney Paris for a few days and wanted to get my tickets issued a few days prior to travel. Is there a manned ticket counter at Disney Paris station where I can present my ID and credit card used and have someone issue my tickets? I am concerned that my US credit card will not work when I swipe it to retrieve my tickets (I ed the print at station option, as I was concerned about being able to print them from my computer). Thanks, Elaine
There is a full-service train station at Euro Disney just outside the main gates. They have manned ticket counters, so there shouldn't be a problem picking up your Chunnel train tickets since they have direct trains between London & Disney.
You are correct that you cannot use swipe cards in an SNCF ticket machine (they only accept chip and pin), but it's quick at the staffed counter. Just be sure to bring the credit card you used to buy the ticket, and it's quick for them to print it out. In the future, you should know that when you buy a print-at-home ticket from SNCF, you get an e-mail with a PDF that is the ticket. So, you do not have to print it at the time of purchase. You can send this PDF to anyone else who has a printer, or can copy it to a flash drive to take to another computer with a printer. If you need another copy and are at a hotel, you can e-mail it to them, if they will agree to print it out for you. And, you do not need to use A4 paper, even though it says you do; 8.5 x 11 works fine. Finally, you can make as many copies as you like; since you have to show your passport with the ticket, the duplicates can't be used by anyone else. As a "belt and suspenders" type, I like to put copies in each suitcase, the moneybelt, etc.
