Eurostar booking period heavily increased

It isn't specifically mentioned on their website, but Eurostar have announced in press releases and promotional emails to regular customers that they have expanded their booking period to 358 days (or almost a year) before date of travel.

We don't know yet if the cheapest fares will be made available at the beginning of the booking period, but this may mean that it will become more challenging to obtain tickets around national holidays, school vacations and other high-demand periods, as well as making it more of a gamble to buy the cheapest advance tickets if you intend to continue your trip on another train.

Thank you Philip! It looks like similar prices for December as for this June so went ahead and booked!

For those in the US....change your "country" to UK to be billed in GBP. The fare came thru about $8 cheaper when billed to my AMEX this way as opposed to the fare shown in $$ on the website.

Thanks, Philip!

And good idea, Pam! I was recently booking a new hotel in Iceland after canceling a previous one, and when they asked for my credit card info, they asked me if I wanted to be billed in US dollars or Icelandic Kronor. They actually had the amount listed there, and when I elected for IK, it was about 20 dollars cheaper.
