Eurorail pass Italy and Croatia

If I were to buy a Eurorail pass which would cover both Italy and Croatia, would the eurorail pass cover the fast ferry (4hr travel time) from Ancona, Italy to Split, Croatia or would I have to buy a ticket for that ferry?
