eurorail Brussels to Amsterdam

Ok I have my Eurorail pass 1 month continuous saver first class. We leave \london and fly to Brussels. We arrive early am so would like to tour around downtown Brussels and then take the train to Haarlem. I am trying to make my first train reservation by internet and Eurorail is not one of the choices. Would this be considered a premium pass? I went to the site www.b-rail.be. Could someone give me a hand to get started with my reservations? thanks

You don't need a reservation if you are planning on take a crappy Benelux IC train. Their seat are non-reservable and you might need to stand for part of all of your journey, though that is not common on first class. If you decide to use Thalys (much better and 1h28min faster), you need to buy them at Thalys site, not SNCB as you are doing. Supplements are hefty. Stand-alone Bruxelles - Amsterdam tickets on Thalys cost as little as € 29. If you go with Thalys, go to Amsterdam CEntraal and catch a train to Haarlem there. If you go with the lesser option (Benelux IC), alight in Den Haag HS and take a train to Haarlem from there (do not go to Amsterdam Centraal as there is a more direct route through Den Haag HS since last December).
