We are planning a trip to France to see the family. To take advantage of really good prices/and coincide with vacation time we are looking at flying on the 31st of December or 1st of January. With a European layover (Germany?)
Does anyone have any experience flying during these holidays. While I know from living there that shops and such are shut; what about airport services, shops, restaurants, currency exchange, SIM card kiosks, and public transportation like trains airport busses/shuttles.
