I recently tried to buy tickets through europe by air and they wanted copies of my passport/drivers license and a copy of my credit card front and back. I thought it was a little fishy. Has anyone else experienced this when purchasing tickets?

I went to the website and was not impressed.
My suggestion is go to DoHop.com and Kayak.com and find the airlines that fly to your destination and the fares. Then go directly to that airline's website and book it.

Why use a middle man,, buy tickets directly from airline. Where do you need to fly to and from.
I flew Paris to Rome last year on Vueling, they did not need my PP and in no way in heck would I give anyone a copy of the front and back of my PP. Yikes. I give out my CC number only on secure sites.
