Euromed Train Barcelona to Valencia (Spain) third week of June

Hi All,

I've read about the issues with the RENFE ticket releases, so I can't tell if all tickets have been released and my desired ticket day/time (from deutsch bahn inquiry) is sold out or if not all the tickets have been released.

I'm trying to get the June 20th 12:00 Euromed departure from Barcelona to Valencia.

I've tried Renfe, RailEurope and Trainline.

I finally, to verify I could make a reservation, tried a later time through RailEurope with the flexibility to exchange the ticket (for earlier) got all the way through entering all names and passports and it errored me out. I'm suspecting the tickets haven't been released?

If trains sold out months in advance they would be useless.

So if you are looking at dates more than a few days in the future, and not seeing any tickets then you are just to early.

Carlos - I see those too, I had assumed all times for the route would be released, but I'm not seeing the 12:00 departure that I can see via deutsch bahn, does that mean it's sold out or does that mean deutsch bahn has incorrect scheduling?

OR, is there another fast train line running Barcelona to Valencia?

The time that works best is the 12:00, and I dont want to buy tickets for later and then the 12:00 time become available.

Nevermind! I figured out my mistake. The 12:00 is the regional train - it only takes 30 more minutes than the Euromed!

Lesson learned...the fast train is not always THAT much faster!
