What's your travel date? If you book early enough (up to 92 days allowed) on the German Rail site, you can get a Europa-Spezial Danemark fare as low as €39.

I used them for travel between Brussels and Amsterdam. Excellent price and a nice comfortable bus with no problems. I would use them again. The cost was about 70% cheaper than taking the train!

It looks like Eurolines from Berlin to Copenhagen is €38, compared to as little as €39 by train. Both take about 7 hours. There are five train connections during the day. There are only two buses during the day plus one overnight. I think I would try first for a €39 fare from the Bahn. Only if I couldn't get it would I take the bus.

My travel dates are July 15. The train would have been a great option if I knew earlier about the special. Eurolines night bus departure time fits in my schedule.

I booked coach bus too, it takes 3 times longer than train. Good saving if you have time.
