We'll be validating our Eurail pass at the Zurich airport upon arrival. I know that the train station is on the bottom level but I am wondering if you have to go to a particular window to validate the Eurail pass or if any ticket window will work and also any tips or anything on validating it there?
I'm paranoid given my incredibly awful experience in Prague last year. I was told I could validate the pass easily at the ticket window even though at the time the Czech Republic wasn't included in the Eurail pass. Once the attendant heard me speak they immediately pushed themself away from the counter towards the wall (in their office chair) and refused to have anything to do with me or even look at me. We got lucky with the other open ticket window and no issues thankfully. I know that I won't face the same situation in Zurich but I would like know if there is anything I need to know other than simply 'bring the passports and Eurail pass and stand in line at a ticket window'. Thank you!
