Eurail Pass - Switzerland - Interlaken East-West Covered?

I'm not an expert on Eurail passes, but you can easily walk that distance. Interlaken may be the largest town in the area, but it isn't that big.

The day we arrive we are stopping in West (with our bags and storing them), staying there a bit and then continuing on to East and on to Murren. Since we'll have bags we'll take the train.

Interlaken Ost (East) and West are a few minutes apart. You should be covered with your Eurail pass. From Interlaken to Brienz, I believe that you will be on the Zentralbahn train system. This too seems to be covered.

However, from Interlaken Ost into the Lauterbrunnen Valley, you will be on the Jungfraubahn. You only get a 25% discount on this train system. This includes the ride up to the top of the Jungfrau. Also in the valley are the gondolas to Gimmelwald, Muerren and the Schilthorn that are run by the Schilthornbahn system. 25% discount there as well. Note that a full-fare round trip to the Jungfrau is $180. About $92 to the top of the Schilthorn.

Thanks Larry - that's what I needed to know. I went to Murren last year so do understand the discount only beyond Interlaken but I guess I never realized if it included or excluded it.
