In June, traveling from Copenhagen to Cologne overnight, the conductor (in German I believe it is referred to as the "Schafner" which I suppose is literally the "purser") did not return our Eurail pass in the morning. Anyone else have this experience? If so, how was it ultimately resolved. It happened to us on a DB train and the overnight compartment was purchased through City Night Line. We ended up having to purchase an entire new pass. I was curious if others have had this experience and how they dealt with it.
