I'm just beginning to plan a Christmas trip to Europe. I'm trying to figure out if a Eurail pass is worth it, but it looks like that will depend heavily on whether I'm a "youth" or not. Do full-time students still get the benefits of a youth pass? Thanks,
Sara
It's age, not your student status, that matters. To qualify for the youth pass you must be under age 26 on your first day of railpass travel.
Welcome to grown-up world!
Have fun on your trip, regardless of where and and how you travle.
Hi Sara,
Yeah, I'm 27 and still a full-time student (law) but had to get the 1st class pass because of my age. I got the Eurail pass anyway for my trip this summer despite the crazy jump in price because it was still cheaper than point-to-point tickets for me (I'm seeing a lot of countries in a short time). I do, however, have my ISIC so hopefully that'll get me some discounts.
I'd go for the pass.
