Eurail Global Pass for a 30 year old...

I'm looking into the Eurail Global Pass Saver option for myself and my friend on our Europe trip later this year. Here is where I get confused...

On Rail Europe, for example, when I go to reserve seats as a passholder it always gives me a first or second class option. If I choose a second class option, is that ok? Do non-youth travelers (over 25 years old) have to choose a more expensive first class reservation?

Thanks for any advice.
