I purchased two Eurail passes from their website, one of them a saver pass for two adults. I noticed that on this pass, there were no names listed, instead stating "see control voucher." But I could not find any such control voucher in my package. The staff at the US Eurail office are working to determine how my pass was sent without the control voucher, and to resolve the problem. They stated that procedures for shipment have recently changed, and that might have been the cause. I want to suggest to readers of this forum that if they have recently purchased a saver pass to check that a control voucher is attached under the pass (both stapled to the pass cover). I would hate to get to Europe and find my Eurail Pass was invalid.
Yes, any saver (group) pass should have at least two pages of ticket stock stapled to your pass cover, one of which has the names listed. Depending on who stapled it, the names could be the top page or second page. Sometimes a third page will be for rules associated with the pass.
Yep, there's a separate document with traveler names and passport numbers.
On a related note, make sure you carefully enter EVERY train trip you take on the paperwork. Most conductors will let it slide, but then you'll run into that one special one .....
