Eurail Benulux

Hello. The two of us are taking a train from Amsterdam to Paris in May. Three days later, we want to take a train to Brussels. Then we want to travel to different towns in Belgium (Bruges...etc.) . To end our trip, we will return to Amsterdam. This is in a time span of two weeks. Is the Benulux eurail the cheapest way to go? Should we buy it now? It is $350/adult...that is so expensive! Any cheaper way? thanks!

3rd party rail passes almost never save any money, and this is especially true for the Netherlands and Belgium. For Belgium, the national rail company (NMBS) sells a 10 trip pass for about €60. More than one person can use the pass at the same time. So, for instance, a round trip for two peope between Brussels and Brugge would count for 4 of the 10 trips. You can buy the pass upon arrival at any train station. For the longer legs of your trip between Brussels, Amsterdam and Paris, look into Thalys.com for the high speed trains between these cities. You can usually get discounts for advanced purchases.

Ditto. Been there, done that, gonna do that again in the future. You can get Amsterdam>Paris fares for €65,00 for Fri, May 27...but it's an advance-purchase fare; they sell out, then the next fares pop up (€78,00, €98,00, etc.), so buy them online ASAP!
