I am considering buying a Eurail Global Flexipass for an upcoming trip. These passes are all digital now and I read of users having horrible experiences trying to use the app to load their tickets and make reservations. Any recent experience using this app? Thanks!

The paper version is still available if you prefer that.

I bought a digital railpass for my trip in December. I had no trouble loading the passes and have saved several train trips. the only thing that hasn't run 100% smoothly is I had to manually load a few of the trains I may take, but it was very easy to do that.
I haven't made any reservations through the app, but have made reservations on the DB app.

I used the Eurail app along with 28 students this past January and had no problems. The one issue is what a previous writer mentioned when a train you want to take might not be on the Eurail app. You can either enter it manually or you may need to update your app for the latest train schedules. I have found it works great.
