Just curious if anyone has flown Ethiopian Air business class? I found a good deal with airline miles for a one way from east coast USA to Cape Town via Ethiopia. I’ve flown other routes to SA before but curious if anyone has done this route? Thoughts on Ethiopia Air? I’d just buy one way and then maybe Lufthansa back from JHB. Multi city flight itinerary here.
Otherwise it’s economy both ways (paid with cash), though direct to Cpt from east coast USA.
I’ve only flown ET in economy to Johannesburg many years ago and have flown them elsewhere last year (Seychelles- Addis - London). Overall, they seem ok and service may be a notch below the US carriers ( economy). Compare the price to UA to CPT and if it is a good deal I would go for it since it is in business class for such a long journey. ET is the largest carrier in Africa I believe.
Flew Ethiopian Airlines RT Frankfurt to Djibouti via Addis for several years. Nothing spectacular but always a decent trip.
