Entering Italy from Slovenia and wedding clothes to our final destination

Hello there,
In mid June, after more than two weeks of traveling through Croatia and Slovenia, my husband and I will be taking a GoOpti from Portoroz, Slovenia to Trieste, Italy where we will spend the night and then train to Florence for a wedding. I'm having a hard time finding any information on COVID requirements for entering Italy. We are both fully vaccinated and boosted but I'm wondering if we are going to need a PCR test to cross the border or ride the train? Or, is it too early to know what the requirements will be?
Also, since the wedding we will be going to is at the end of the trip, are there any thoughts about how to get our wedding clothes to Florence (besides taking an extra carry on)? We are hoping to do the trip in carry ons. My clothes aren't really a problem, but my husband needs a jacket and dress shoes!
Thanks in advance for your help.

A friend was in Slovenia and took required tests for entering Italy. The Go Opti sailed through the Italian border at 75 mph, never stopped, nothing ever was checked.
Wedding clothes: We were in a similar situation, traveling extensively before a wedding in another country. We shipped our wedding clothes to a relative of the bride who lived there. Maybe your hotel in Florence would accept your shipment and hold it for you?
