I would like to try the Emirates long haul flight from Dubai (DXB) to Seattle (SEA), 14 hours, one way.
If you have done this route, would you recommend and justify the considerable cost, even in economy class?

Flew this route in 2016. Emirates economy is nothing like US-based airlines' economy. So much nicer. Great entertainment options. Food was delicious, but more so on the return from Dubai. Seat pitch is 32-24 inches, which is more generous than usual economy. Too bad the jet for the route from Seattle is on a B777, instead of an A350. But still...go for it. I'd pay more just to skip a layover anywhere.
