I am attempting to book Elipsos, Barcelona to Paris for 14/6/11,but keeps coming up "not possible". Contacted raileurope - state "there is engineering works on line and do not know when window open for booking, but THINK it may run, and keep trying booking intermittently" Obviously cant be kept in limbo - train might not run. can anyone advise alternative rail to elipsos, commencing say noon 14/6/11 by split journey eg? Thank you.

You can take a Spanish Alaris train from Barcelona to Figueres, and French TGV from there to Paris. A 13:00 departure from Barcelona has you arrive in Paris at 20:41. Bahn.de shows this connection.

Is there an overnight train figueres to paris -14/6/11 pls times and costs - 4 people - 2 cabins and barcelona to figueres connection. thank you

You can take a regional train from Barcelona Sants to Cerbere and a night train from there to Paris Austerlitz. Leave Barcelona at 17:16 and arrive in Paris at 07:28. For detailed timetables use the German Rail site.
