My wife and I plan to take a night train from Prague to Ljubljana. We hope to have a private sleeping compartment, probably 1st class. Can we expect to have an electrical outlet in the compartment. I use a CPAP machine. I could get along without it for a night, but my wife would likely get more sleep if I could use it.

However, if there is a plug, it will be 230V. Either your CPAP machine needs to be dual voltage, or you will need a voltage converter. You will also need a plug adapter.

I have slept on two overnight trains this month and both have had plugs. I was in second class as well.
