Are there electrical outlets on the sleepers/couchettes? My husband has a CPAP machine that he needs to sleep with and I wouldn't want to make the mistake of finding out the hard way!

Which rail company/country are you talking about? Modern CNL trains have got outlets. I suppose older - say Romanian trains probably don't...

Kate, I just called CNL's Frankfurt office. They confirmed that there is a Continental European standard 220V power outlet in every compartment and every seat row on the open plan.
