I'll be renting a car in the UK and I'm wanting to bring along my Garmin Nuvi (GPS navigation system). Is the electric outlet/cigarette lighter there the same shape as the ones here in the US? Because if it's not, my Garmin won't work once the battery runs out. Has anyone taken theirs to Great Britain?

Kim, the cigarette lighter Adapter provided with your Garmin should work fine in the U.K. I used my Garmin Nuvi with no problems last fall. Things are much better now than in the past, when cars there had a positive ground electrical system!
