Hi, all. Arrived at Zurich airport this morning. Before getting to Passport control note that there is construction going on, we were not allowed to take people mover to the main terminal but shunted up and back down stairs to then wait for a smallish bus. After getting to immigration, it was pretty quick, lines moved quickly through manned stations and there were no problems with the fingerprinting and photo. There were a series of machines for automated processing on the other side of the room but not yet up and running.

Any news re: EU exit through Zurich? I'm entering vie MUC but exiting ZRH

Switzerland is not in the EU, but I assume you mean Schengen.

Thank you for the update. We are traveling as two couples, with one person requiring assistance, so I imagine they will be getting an elevator etc. We two, mobile and with carryon only, will have to schlep up and down those steps I suppose. We shall see, but at least now we have a heads up. :)
