I am traveling to Switzerland, France, Spain, and Portugal. I am staying in Interlaken, Val De Loire, San Sebastian, and Lisbon for a total of 17 days. Eurail prices are at about $422 for 5 days of travel which works for my package. But Let's Go guide says they do not recommend to buy Eurail if you're traveling to Spain and Portual-because their national train prices are much lower than the cost of Eurail. I tried to find out individual prices without success on line. If I can save about 50 euros then that would be nice over Eurail.
