Eben-Emael Belgium, Maginot Line near Strasbourg, Koblenz and Fuessen

Does anyone know how to get to Eben-Emael Belgium from either Brussels or Liege via public transportation?

Also, I would like to visit Eben-Emael, spend a day, at least, on the Rhine between Koblenz and Frankfurt, visit Fuessen and Strasbourg to see some of the Maginot Line forts and then go to London in 6 days. I am inclined to think that is one too many places and should skip Strasbourg. Does anyone have any opinions or advice?

Thank you,

Steve

From Brussels, looks like you have to take the train to Tongeren (you may have to exchange trains in Leuven), and from there, take a bus (De Lijn, the Flemish bus service). I don't know what bus number or how often it leaves, but most stations have a bus map posted.

From Liege (Luik in Dutch), looks like you take the bus as well (TEC, the Walloon bus service).

The most out-of-the-way place on your agenda is Fuessen, which is no where near the Maginot Line. Although I think Fuessen is almost THE signature site in Germany, it is way out of the vs. everything else on your itinerary.
