EasyJet Tickets: To book or not until strike in Germany settled?

Not sure if I should book EasyJet flight now for flight in April from Cologne/Bonn to London (Gatwick); If flight cancelled due to strike situation would one be able to get money back or ????

There's only one way you'll ever know. You have to contact EasyJet direct.

We could all give an educated opinion based on previous experiences and such like, but low cost airlines like EasyJet don't follow normal airline rules and they are not always consistent in their refunds policy. Airlines like EasyJet give refunds on a case-by-case basis, they can ( and occasionally do ) say that if they offer you another flight on the same route on another day, that's as much as they will do.

The only way to be sure is to contact EasyJet and get a written statement from them. That, in itself, is not an easy thing.

The service and help you get from low cost airlines directly correlates to the ticket price.

If you booked the ticket with a credit card and the flight is cancelled then call your CC company to recoup your money.

Well, is EasyJet the only airline you've looked into.. I mean there are dozens or more low cost carriers, just find another.
Airberlin has flights from Dusseldorf to London Stanstead in April for as low as 45 euros all included( one way) . Dusseldorf is pretty close to Cologne so an option to look at anyways.

Thanks for your suggestions on this topic. I have booked my April flight from Cologne to Gatwick on EasyJet and hopefully no labor strikes will affect it. Thanks again for your input.
