EasyJet from Amsterdam

Hi im thinking about using EasyJet to get from Amsterdam to London as its less than half the price than traveling by train. I was just wondering if they are a safe and efficient company to travel with.

Also I have the Rick Steves backpack and was wondering if they will let me carry it on?

Of all the discount airlines, Easyjet has the best reputation. In my experience the are best of the bunch. Even though they charge a bit more, use flights from Amsterdam to Gatwick instead of Luton or Stansted. It's much easier to get to central London from Gatwick by rail. You will have no problems carrying-on your RS pack.

I took EasyJet twice last summer: once from Edinburgh to Amsterdam, then Amsterdam to London. Small plane, but clean and friendly; Rick's carryon backpacks work perfectly! Enjoy your savings; Easyjet is worth it.

Those of you who flew Easyjet, did you check bags or go carry-on only. If carry-on, what did you use? They ahve a size restriction of 55 (21.6) x 40 (15.7) x 20 (7.8) cm. I have never seen a bag with this shape. My US carry on is 21.5 x 13 x 9 and is "typical"
