what is allowed free of charge? Can you have 1 hold bag 20kg limit free and 1 carry-on (meet dimensions) free or are you charged for 1 or both? I have 1 hold bag and 1 carry-on...and am asked in the reservation process, how many carry-on bags and if I insert 1 I am charged. Should I not show any....what about my wifes purse is that a carry-on and will I be charged eur18 or more if i do not include it in the reservation. Hoping I can get this cleared up.

Here's EAsyjet's Baggage Policy
It's pretty self-explanatory. Easyjet now charges 8 GBP for each checked bag. Hold luggage is the British term for checked luggage. You are not asked about carry-on in the ticketing process. And your wife's purse is considered a carry on bag. Each person is allowed one carry-on bag, period.
