Has anyone used Easybus from London to Gatwick? Are they pretty much on time? We need to go on a Saturday. Easybus on sale costs 1 pound for two, the train is c. 32 pounds. Thanks for any comments.

I haven't taken easyBus, but I can tell you that the main thing affecting your travel time will be how heavy the traffic is. (That shouldn't be much of a problem on a Saturday.)
While the Gatwick Express costs 16.90, the standard anytime fare on a Southern train from Victoria to Gatwick is 11.90 GBP. And if you book in advance on the Southern site, you can get a discount fare as low as 3 GBP; but your ticket will only be good for a specific departure date and time.
If you can get a discount fare, take a Southern train (only 5-10 minutes slower than the Gatwick Express). It's a long bus ride.
