Easy Jet (Speedy Boarding)

I am going to book a flight with Easy Jet and don't know if I should buy speedy boarding. Is this worth it? I am flying out of Paris Orly.

If you have plenty of time to board, I would not pay anything for boarding. Shortage of time should determine if you need that additional expense.

easyjet has instituted Speedy Boarding to pull in a few more bucks. Before Speedy Boarding, the earlier you checked in, the earlier you were called to board (since it's an open seating policy). Those check-in groups (A thru D) are still there, so it still worth it to check in as early as possible. It's just that now those who pay for Speedy Boarding are the first to be allowed to board, ahead of Group A.

2 years ago when we travelled with Easy jet, they weighed our carry-on hand luggage and included that weight with our checked bags, which resulted in our paying an excess levy. The only airline I have ever travelled with who have done this,
