Easy Jet or Vueling Airlines - Rome to Paris

Hi,

I need to book a flight from Rome into Paris for early June.

The wegolo.com websites lists the 3 flights that I may be interested in:

Easy Jet Rome (CIA) 2:05 PM to Paris (ORLY) 4:05 PM
$62.37 plus $12.67 handling fee = $75.04

East Jet Rome (CIA) 8:55 AM to Paris (ORLY) 10:55 AM
$69.97 plus $12.67 handling fee = $82.64

Vueling Airlines Rome (FCO) 1:30 PM to Paris (CDG) 3:35 PM
$80.43 plus $12.67 handling fee = $93.10

I like the Easy Jet flight that leaves at 8:55 AM..however,
I'm concerned on how we can obtain transportation to get
to the airport in the wee hrs...their check in time is
6:55 AM...does anyone know how long the drive is from the
Rome/Pantheon area to get to the CIA airport? Would you
suggest that we leave our hotel/apartment around 5 AM or
later?

Would you recommend flying Easy Jet or Vueling and why?

I'm not familiar with Vueling's luggage policies.

thanks.

There are three bus companies that offer service between the Roma Termini train station and Ciampino. Two of them begin their runs before 05:00 and are open to anyone. The third one, Terravision, times its departures from Termini to coincide with the departure times of certain budget airlines, including easyJet. If you use Terravision, you should be at Termini at least three hours before your flight is scheduled to leave and you must have a ticket on easyJet or one of the other airlines with which Terravision has contracts. See this page on the Ciampino site for links to the bus companies Web sites.

I always suggest people go directly to the airlines' websites to actually book their tickets for one of the reasons you advance....check-in and luggage policies are rarely listed on these search engine websites, so better to get the information directly from the horse's month. And besides, you're being charged too much. Depending on the day you're travelling, you can get that 8:55 am easyjet flight for as low as $48 all in....about half the price wegolo wants to charge you. As for the two airlines....I've travelled both and have no complaints about either, so look for the best deal.

I flew from Paris to Rome on Vueling last summer.

I booked with Vueling directly,, why would you pay anyone a handling fee for what you can do yourself?

You can go on the Vueling website, click on english and read all about the luggage policies,, you should do that for any flight you take, do not rely on a middleman ticket sellers word for it, you need to know what the policies are for sure, once you arrive at the airport it might really hurt if you were incorrectly informed.

Personally I think I would just go with cheapest flight, Easyjets 2pm flight. You can then take public transport to airport and save money, instead of needing a taxi for a 6 am flight!(yikes).
What ever you decide they are all decent enough choices.

Book directly. Read each website carefully, it is easy .
