has anyone rented a car from this service?
i am looking to rent a car for the day to go from Paris to the WWII beaches. I am tryign to stay around 100 euros or lower. So if you have any other suggestions besides the normal big name rental companies feel free to reply.
Had a friend that rented from them a year or so ago in the UK -- all I remember was "never again" which is why I recognized the name of the company. Try kayak.com and check the carrentals.com box as well (forget checking expedia, etc). I'll bet you can beat 100 euros/day. Apropos of zilch, I think that's about a three hour drive each way (depending on departure point and time in Paris). Maybe spend the night to see more? "In-and-around" driving time will eat into your day as well. I know the area. Give me a yell if I can help.

I agree with Steve's recommendation. easyCar used to be convenient and cheap, with minimum rentals of a few hours. That business model didn't succeed and now they're just an agent for other rental car companies (a similar business model to AutoEurope, who in my experience is much easier to work with).
I haven't looked at easyCar recently, but I think they have policies regarding prepayment and non-refundability that are not customer friendly.
