I will be arriving at the Dublin airport and then need to get to Kinsale. Given jet lag, I would like the easiest way other than flying to Cork. The flight schedule from Dublin to Cork is limited. Any suggestions?
Hi Patty,
There are buses outside the door of Dublin airport that take you to Heuston Station in Dublin city. You can then get a train straight to Cork. Not sure how far Kinsale is rfom Cork ciry though.
another alternative would be To get the same bus Ive mentioned then get the LUAS tram to Busaras, and take a bus to kinsale.
I could google the times etc if you like, I will get back to you again....
Hi Patty me again,
www.buseireann.ie should be a helpful site for you.
Enjoy your stay here in ireland, any more q, just ask.HTH
Cork and Kinsale are about 25km apart
Here's a schedule for the bus route between the two cities:

Aircoach offer a good quality coach service - you'd need to get the (every ten minute) service into Dublin City then transfer in Westmoreland Street to their Cork service. Total journey time around 5 hours www.aircoach.ie
Thank you for your help. We think we will need to go with the shutttle bus to the train station. We looked at the timetables for flights and they don't match our schedule.
