Hi , i have a friend who is leaving for Paris in a week,, she is also taking a side trip to Scotland from Paris. Her flight to Scotland leaves at 8:15 am,, so with that in mind, when should she leave paris and what method of getting to Orly would be best. Thanks

"Best" would depend somewhat on where your friend will be staying and if she is packing light. What is the name and/or address of her hotel?

At that early hour a cab would be much safer. Her hotel can reserve it for her.

she is staying in the Marais, not sure where,, she will be only taking a small bag,, but I think the RER may take to long,, doesn't she need to be there at least two hours ahead of time, i mean Scotland is not a Schengen country right so she will still have to do passport stuff right >I think taxi may be best.
