Hello everyone! Can someone please suggest where we can stay and how to get to VCE for a 7am flight. We will be in Venice the week before and will then rent a car and drive to Croatia. On the way back we would drop the car at the airport and get a hotel, dump our stuff and take a vaparetto/bus to Venice to spend another day and come back at night and get to the airport by 5:00 - 5:30am.

Yana, here is a site for hotels near the airport.http://venice.airporthotelguide.com/map.html I have stayed at Crowne Plaza East and would recommend it. They have a free airport shuttle but not at the hour you need. Also, it is the furthest from airport than others. From the map it seems Courtyard by Marriott Venice Airport is the closest if you have to take a cab.
