We'll be parking for about 10 days at Dulles in October. Anyone have suggestions for best parking arrangements based on price & convenience? We have some time prior to our departing flight.
For the Dulles International Airport outside of DC, use the long-term parking and catch the shuttle to the terminal--about 5-7 minutes. The long-term parking costs $10 per day.

Google Dulles parking. If it is anything like Chicago, there should be numerous private lots for less money and providing door-to-door shuttle service. There should also be hotels, that for the cost of spending a night before departure, will let you park for free and use of there own scheduled airport shuttle. Since I see you are coming from Pittsburgh, that may be the best option.

There are many options for parking at area hotels not requiring an overnight stay.
We use Spot Hero and park at a nearby Marriott property -- staff members run a shuttle right to the airport and pick us up as needed.
Marilyn,
I have always used the Dulles economy parking lot when flying to London and have taken the shuttle to the terminal. It is fairly painless and the shuttles circle on a regular basis. It's a large lot with several sections. Just give yourself time and remember the sign number near where you parked so that you know where to get off the shuttle after your trip.
Have a good trip!
