I'm planning a trip to Rome but want to also go over to Dubrovnik, I think the ferry from Bari stops in Oct, I will be traveluing 1st 2 weeks in Oct. Any suggestions for flights etc and actual cost. We are both above 60. Thanks Barb S, Seattle WA

Croatia Airlines www.croatiaairlines.com has flights from Rome to Dubrovnik via Zagreb from about $325 RT

Jadrolinija hasn't yet added its low season ferry schedule to its website. Bari-Dubrovnik ferries will change from daily to twice weekly in October. Keep checking, as the low season schedule (starts Oct 1) will likely be posted soon. Or you could inquire by e-mail to their customer service center. If they don't yet know the exact sailing schedule, they could at least confirm ferries will run in October.
