Driving in Scandinavia

I have read that it is easy to drive in Scandinavia, but can you travel in the ferry from Stockholm to Helsinki with a leased car?
I will appreciate any kind of information about travelling by car in Scandinavia.
Thank you in advance.

I would suggest that you ask your leasing company.

Are you planning to drive around Finland or just visit Helsinki? You really don't need a car in either Stockholm or Helsinki. The car is great for the countryside, but expensive in the cities as parking is not cheap.

Thank you for your reply Laura.
When we travel by car in Europe, we usually stay at B&B just outside the main cities, which is very convenient, we just park the car for free and get into town either walking (like in Brugge) or by a quick bus ride (like in Amsterdam).

I don't know about traveling to Helsinki with a leased car, but I can say that driving in Sweden is incredibly easy. Of course, we are from the San Francisco area so are used to a lot of traffic which they just don't have there.
