Driving in Galicia

Going to Galicia beginning of Nov. 2009. Anyone have experience renting a car at airport in Santiago de Compostela staying in Santiago de Compostela then possibly do day trips driving to A Coruna, Ferrol, Ponteverde and Vigo. Plan to do all this in 5 days is this realistic? Any suggestions? Thanks

Hi Edna,

I haven't taken your exact trip but from looking at the map of Spain it looks very do-able. For our trip we rented a car in Salamanca, Spain and drove through Portugal and stayed in Coimbra and Porto before our stay in Santiago de Compostela.

I think that you will love Santiago! We highly recommend Hotel Residencia Costa Vella
