we will be driving from vienna (an eu country) to croatia (a non eu country) and possibly to mostar in bosnia. do we need anything special to do this???

Be sure and check with your rental car co and see if they will allow the car to go into all those countries. You will need special papers from the rental car co to cross those borders.If they allow it,it will cost more. If you don't have the necessary papers you will be turn away at the border.
