Hi there! I will be driving from Frankfurt to Switzerland. According to google maps, we will pass by two immigration checkpoints at Austria and Switzerland. Can anyone advise me regarding the procedures or documents that I would need? How long will it take and cost? Thanks!!

I assume your proposed route is via German route A96 to Austrian A14. It isn't so much a border check as a station to buy an Austrian and/or Swiss vignette sticker. If you don't already have the Austrian sticker, you can stop and buy it here. There's any number of border crossing between Austria and Switzerland in the area, but at most, all you need for any of them is the Swiss vignette sticker. For crossings on the secondary roads, there's nothing but a road sign.
