Driving Distances/Times in Provence, France

I like Carcassonne. I like Collioure. But I would spend 8 days seeing Provence and the Cote d'Azure. You won't be bored if you do. Calculate your own driving times from viamichelin.com and add 20% and time for meals enroute. It's not a ton of drivingmaybe 12+ hoursbut you would shift your base every two days. If you were coming from or going to Spain or the Perigord, I'd say different. But as a round trip starting in Nice I honestly think you can do better. Just my 2 cents.

Adam gave you good advice by recommending www.viamichelin.com for driving times. But you're unlikely to to want to drive straight through without stopping at the many interesting sites along the way. For example, you could spend most of a day just driving from Arles to Avignon if you took in a bit of the Camargue and then went north to Pont du Gard and Uzes.
