Hi we are planning to stay at san sebastian and hire a car to go to lourdes only to visit grotto,can someone advise what do I need to cross to france,apart of passport and internacional drive licence.thanks in advance

When we rented in Bilbao but stayed in Biarritz, every car rental company I checked charged extra to take the car to France. I saw generally 20 euros/day. I finally selected a provider that charged a flat 50 euro fee. The way they explained it, Spanish insurance isn't valid in France, so the extra fee provides coverage for that as well as if towing back to Spain is needed.
