We are doing a home and car exchange in Dresden and want to go to Prague but are undecided on the best way to do it. Whether to drive go by train or bus, we know once there we would not need the car but there may be parking costs, also since it's not our car we're a little afraid of car theft etc.
Any suggestions ?

Train is probably the best way to do it. Plenty of direct trains. Little over two hours.
