We are a group of six who will be traveling to France then crossing the channel to Dover. We would like to take in a few sites while there but will have our luggage along with us. Are there any facilities for storing luggage for 4-5 hours either at the port or train station.

There are no left luggage facilities at Dover Priory rail station.

Since Nigel don't suck suds: White Horse Inn, Castle Hill Steet. Buy a pint and ask them if you can toss your stuff in the back room. Be polite and read the walls while you're there.

BTW - it seems that you are crossing the Channel on a ferry, as foot passengers. If so, unless things have changed recently, there has recently only been one ferry company which takes foot passengers. That's P&O. They will be the folk you need to travel with...
