On Thursday, July 11, Jet Blue flight 1908 too off from Paris' Charles De Gaulle Airport (CDG) bound for NY's JFK.
As the plane was near the west coast of Ireland, a technical problem forced the plane to turn around and divert back to Paris.
According to passengers, there was only one Jet Blue representative to help them but they all got accomodations for the night. They were told Jet Blue was flying out a part and they would leave the next day for NY on the same plane.
Delays occurred and eventually the plane took off (yesterday) for NY.
The plane flew slightly further than the day before when the same technical problem occurred. This time, the crew diverted to Dublin.
Some passengers were put on alternate flight to NY while others were waiting for the plane to be fixed and to fly back to JFK.
As of my writing this, the plane is still in Dublin.
BTW, the plane is only a few months old.
The passengers will be due compensation under EU261.
