Do Not Give Up on the RENFE Site

I was about to give up on the purchase of tickets from Madrid to Barcelona on the RENFE site from the US. It kept kicking me off when I tried to enter my credit card information. Then after a bunch of tries with different cards - It worked and I even got a REALLY GREAT price on the tickets (about 25% of the normal full fare). This was in Mid 0ctober for end of October travel. The exact same thing happened to me. I kept trying and after lots of failed attempts it finally worked!!
